Todd Funasaki is Director of Product Marketing at Informatica where he is responsible for driving usage of Informatica On Demand Data Integration Services for cross enterprise integration and connectivity to SaaS applications. Todd has a wide expertise in all aspects of the data integration solutions and has been involved in over 20 large scale application implementation projects, including SAP and i2. Todd also spent over 3 years in the Informatica R&D organization where he was responsible for product direction of all connectivity products. Prior to Informatica, Todd served in roles as a project manager and solution architect at Deloitte Consulting where he managed ERP implementations and data synchronization projects between enterprise applications.

John Hegstrom has over 20 years of experience in information technology and data integration. He is responsible for the product strategy for Informatica On Demand, Informatica's cross-enterprise data integration initiative. Prior to joining Informatica Mr. Hegstrom served for four years as VP, Global Integration Services at Salesforce.com where he worked with companies large and small to integrate their business processes and data with the Salesforce.com platform.

Welcome to the Informatica On Demand Blog. The on-demand data integration space is getting interesting. On-demand is fostering some new approaches to integration that are challenging the conventional wisdom that integration is expensive and risky. As pioneers in on-demand integration we want to create a community forum for discussing the trends in the industry, including the Integration as a Service (IaaS) model, Cross-enterprise and cross-firewall integration, purpose-built integration solutions, and the business model for on-demand integration.
